Ok well I am back to Core or attempting to be back at core..this time I have a much more steady schedule and have established a good gym routine as well which I know HELPS! Sunday November 13 2005 BreakfastDH cooked so today had 1 egg (core) 2 slices turkey bacon (2pts) potatoes (core) 1/2 slice wheat toast (maybe 1 pt) water Snacks2 sugar cookies (yikes pts) Lunchspicy cajun veg soup (core) water Dinnerwell went to a girly party so lots of points used I am sure.... but the core stuff I did have was veggies (carrots,cucmbers,broccoli) deviled eggs (made with ff mayo so core!) then used points on 1 glass of wine 1 piece of WW pumpkin roll some chex mix tortilla chips a couple triscuits a couple meatballs and mini sausages overall not to bad I tried to stick with the core stuff and it was my dinner! night snackwater!

Monday November 14th 2005 Breakfast1 hardboiled egg (core) Morning Snack1 hardboiled egg (core) water Lunchbreaded chicken kiev one breast (points) parmesean pasta DH made (points) water Afternoon snacksAfternoon snacking is my hard time of day to get through! Today I made up the roasted chick peas and I can tell they are really good (if you get them all to the desired crunchiness level LOL...some of mine were excellent others still squishy!) roasted chickpeas(core) water 1 sugar cookie (points) I need to grocery shop in the worst way! I am headed there tomorrow since it is closed on Mondays here ARGHHH! Cannot wait to have my house filled with good snacking options!!! DinnerVERY UN CORE Mcdonalds cheeseburger Mcdonalds medium fries One nibble of DD's chicken nugget diet coke (hey that's core at least LOL) EXERCISE1 mile on treadmill (11:24 min) tricep machine bicep machine ab machine (each 3 sets of 15 or more) 2.4 miles on elliptical (levels 5-7, 24 mins)

Tuesday November 15th 2005 Breakfastfat free cherry yogurt (non core but I am a tweaker and I will admit it! I will change once it stops working LOL) Snacks1 hardboiled egg (core fave right now) water handful of doritos (points) LUNCHwater progresso lentil soup (core) sf ff pistachio pudding mixed with plain ff yogurt (did not realize the pistachio one wasn't core so this is points but minimal) DINNER2 Mcdonald cheeseburgers (points) yup I did have McD's two days in a row yikes! Let me say it is cause we went to a concert and that is what DH ordered me on the drive! 1 red bull and vodka (points) Not a great day especially the doritos could have been forgotten but they were in the house and i have no willpower when it comes to doritos in my house! They are gone now and thank goodness it was just a snack sized bag of them! EXERCISE1 mile on treadmill (11:20min) inner leg machine outer leg machine above knee leg machine (each 3 sets of 15 or more) 2.25 miles on elliptical (level 3-7 for 26 mins)

Wednesday November 16th 2005 BREAKFAST1 hardboiled egg (core) some sf ff yogurt pudding fluff (core) water (core) SNACKS1 packet of HI-C fruit snacks (I think like 1 pt) LUNCHWW pasta (core) ragu chunky garden and garlic sauce (not core but needed to use it up...so pts for that will make homemade from now on) water SNACKS1 hardboiled egg (core) water 1 packet of 100 cal cheeseits(2 pts) sf ff vanilla pudding mixed with ff plain yogurt(core) handful of grapes (core) DINNERHormel Vegetarian Chili (core) water Dessert1 small brownie (points) 1 small apple(core) with ff caramel dip(points) Really need to work on getting in more fruits and veg! EXERCISE1.16 miles on treadmill (12 mins) bicep machine tricep machine ab machine (3 reps of 15 or more on each) 1.25 miles on elliptical (did not want to be at gym today so happy I got this much accomplished!) 1 mile walk to post office and back

DINNER1 bowl homemade chili (core) 1 slice bread with 1 cheese slice (points) water EXERCISEnone!!! Had an awful day tomorrow will be much better!!!

Friday November 18th 2005 Broke down and ordered new WW scale off of ebay I cannot stand not knowing my weight! And since there are no meetings around here I need to weigh in at home. Saturday November 19th 2005 This was just a BAD day starting with two small cinnamon rolls , followed by popeyes chicken takeout for lunch, then out to dinner as well! That is what happens when away from home and no good core choices ugh!

Snacks sf ff chocolate pudding (core)with strawberries,blackberries,and raspberries(core)
Hard time of day hit 4 pm ughhhh snack size cheese its (2 pts) snack size turkey n bacon chips (2pts) gingerbread coffee(2pts) I need to not let myself near the kitchen between the hours of 1 and 5 I swear!!!! Even if I start with fruit at this time of day I end up snack attacking it!!
Dinner
grilled lean burger(core) slice provolone(pts) whole wheat bun(pts) small amt baked fries(pts) fresh fruit salad (core) water
Overall I think I did great today except the whole snack time but I at least stopped myself from eating too many snacks!

That's a tough time of day for me too. For me it is usually boredom setting in so I have to make a real concentrated effort to work through the boredom. Most times it means getting out of my house on my days off so I'm not called by the kitchen.

Tuesday November 22, 2005 Today feels like Monday...My DD would not let go of me this morning at preschool which is always fun to deal with then the elliptical trainers were taken at the gym then I come home and have junk ughhh! Also why is it I am actually decently pleased with my body naked but it is when I put clothes on I am so unhappy how I look? Maybe I should move to a nudist colony LOL ;D I guess I should say happy when I am naked and standing in one place as if I bend over skin and boobies sag making me not so happy ha ha ha! P.S. why did not anyone tell me I was spelling liter wrong? LOL Hooray I had a great core day except for those 3 shortbread fingers but hey tis the season right? I so wanted more of them but hid them away in the cupboard and had my sf ff pudding instead! Wednesday November 23rd 2005 Well dang contractors are coming today between 9 and 10 which is my usual workout time so bumming bout that. One thing our gym on base is open tomorrow and also Friday so taking advantage of both days for sure! Will try and get in a pilates workout later today so I have at least done something active today. It has turned into a bad snacking day...I swear days I do not go to the gym is when I eat the worst? Go figure! WOo HOO got to the gym after DH got home from work! Makes me feel a wee bit better bout those cookies Breakfast*1 cup white chocolate coffee (2pts) *2 morningstar farms burgers w/tiny bit prego sauce on top(core) *2 pieces celery(core) *5 green olives(core) *1 liter water OK yes I was in a weird eating mood this morning but hey it keeps things interesting LOL! Thanksgiving Thursday November 24th 2005 Breakfast*1 hardboiled egg (core) *several pieces celery (core) Snacks*2 WW cookies (1.5 pts) Lunch*My Core soup (can tomatoes, frozen carrots,peas,asparagus,green beans, fresh broccoli, some hot sauce, garlic powder, a tad of jar salsa, can black beans ALL CORE) Turkey Day Dinnermashed potatoes gravy 2 rolls w/butter small helping turkey (should have had more of this less of everything else!) stuffing cranberry sauce 2 bites dessert (thank goodness none were that good!) bottle of wine (yup I had a whole bottle LOL) water deviled eggs (6 made core!) carrots sweetened Well it was bad but not quite as bad as it could have been I suppose. Only things core though were the turkey and deviled eggs. Maybe Christmas will try to make more core things!
