In this forum you can post your daily journals. I find looking at others journals helps me as well as them. I get ideas on some simple lunches...what others are having for dinner..And sometimes find a food I've never heard of. Feel free to start your own journal or comment on others.

Can't wait to do this. Are you going to put the date up and we'll all reply to that thread, or should we each start a new thread?

Forgive me for being so dense, I'm obviously a newbie here.
I'm interested in ideas for how to journal while on core, and was referred here from the WW e-tools WPA board. I'm registered, but all I'm seeing are comments about journals, and I don't seem to be able to find the actual journals. I'm interested in format as much as content, as e-tools doesn't have a journal that seems useful for core plan.
Thanks.

Hang in there, Core takes some getting used to, but then it's really intuitive and easy. Some things I noticed from your food log: I don't know what you counted WPAs for, but I can say that 1. Special K is not Core (I'm pretty sure) 2. Fat free dairy is Core; low fat is not 3. Watch your oil intake, only 2 tsp/day is Core, then you need to count pts for additional (1 pt/tsp), and only certain types are Core (canola, flax, olive...a couple more, look it up) 4. Look at the snack guidelines; pudding, ice cream bars, etc, are not permitted snacks. 5. No baked goods are Core, you need to count points for breads. 6. Of potatoes, br rice, and whole wheat pasta, you can select one once a day, then you need to use pts. 7. It looks like you've used a lot more than the 35 WPAs permitted. 8. Focus on portions and satiety levels.
Good luck.

Werder, not to put too fine a point on it, you're not really following the Core plan. Suggest you review the program, especially the 8 Good Health Guidelines.
As Karen said, you're eating a lot of non-Core foods, which you have to count. Plus, many of your meals are terribly unbalanced and "diety." Try to fill your plate with 1/2 veggies, 1/4 protein, and 1/4 healthy starch. And finally, most of your snacks are junk food garbage, which you're probably choosing because you're not eating enough at meals.
