I must say, I have been experimenting with some of the core recipes I found on various WW boards and have to say that I am very surprised I like these. I was very pessimistic about these but am VERY glad I gave them a try.
Here is what I did: 1 can chickpeas - drained, rinsed and patted dry with paper towel non-stick canola oil spray garlic powder chili powder
Preheat over to 350 degrees. Spray high-sided cooking sheet with non-stick spray. Place chickpeas on the cookie sheet sprinkle with garlic powder and chili powder. Gently shake tray to coat chickpeas. Place on bottom rack of oven for 45-50 minutes. Shake pan every 15 minutes or so.
Hope you give it a try and are as pleasantly surprised as I was! Randi

I love 'em!
Try varying the spices to make them different from time to time. I love cumin on them..and sometimes make them hotter with cayanne and red chili flakes. Yum!

I haven't tried chickpeas like this. Do you then use them as a side dish or do you eat them like peanuts, or what? Sound good.

I normally eat them as a snack like peanuts or sometimes add them to salad like croutons. Be careful not to overbake them but take them out of the oven before they are totally brown because they do harden up a bit as they cool. If you overbake them, they are way too hard.
