Friends - I would not lie to you about food! This was knock your socks off amazing. You need:
Turkey breast Packet of onion soup mix
That's it. Rinse and dry the turkey. Rub the soup mix all over it and under the skin. Cook on High for 1 hour and then Cook on low for 7 hours. I actually cooked it on low for 8 hours by the time DH got home for dinner.
It was falling off the bone amazing, moist and juicy. If you are tempted to add liquid DO NOT - the turkey generates enough liquid on its own.
Let me know if you try it!

Beth - I just saw this for the first time - is this a crock pot recipe? Only asking cuz it's that time of year and I will get a free turkey/breast from ShopRite soon so I thought I'd try this. Let me know, thanks!

Wow! You were not kidding, this is great! I think I cooked mine just a "tad" bit too long, I will adjust that next time. It was juicy, moist, tasty & easy!!!!!! I served mine with small roasted potatoes(diced potatoes tossed with olive oil spray & Italian seasonings. Baked in oven about 25-30 min @ 375) This was a great companion. Also some fresh green beans, yummy! Has anyone tried the Reynolds aluminum "no stick" foil? This stuff is great, nothing sticks to it.
