Soak wood skewers in water for about 1/2 hour. (This keeps them from burning)
Cut Fresh Nectarines, Fresh Plums, Fresh Pineapple, Fresh Peaches or use your imagination. Be sure to remove pits & any peels that you would usually remove.
Thread halves of fruit onto skewers. Sprinkle with a little Splenda, if desired. Pineapple probably doesn't need any sweetening.
Grill on BBQ, cut side down until carmalized. It only takes a few minutes to achieve carmalization. Serve on the Skewer. These can also be done on a grill pan on the stove top.
I can't wait for the fresh summer fruit.
