1 Tbsp water 1 small apple(s) 2 tsp Splenda No Calorie Sweetener 1 tsp ground cinnamon 2 Tbsp Quaker Oats Old-Fashioned Oats
Put water into bottom of a custard bowl. Peel, core, and slice apples. Place them in the custard bowl. In a separate small bowl, combine Splenda, cinnamon, and oats. Sprinkle oat mixture on top of apples. Microwave 1-2 minutes or until apples are tender. (or, in oven, bake at 350 degrees for 20 min or until apples are tender.)

I'm eating some of this now. Absolutely amazing how decadent this tastes. I added 2 tsp lite Cool Whip (0pts) to the top.

I made an apple and blackberry crisp the other day similar to this one, but I mashed a very ripe banana with the oats, splenda, and cinnamon. You couldn't really taste the banana, but it made the topping more crumbly. It is really good!

this sounds wonderful. I posted a Scotch Apple Pudding much like this only larger quantities. I have made this pudding twice and like it a lot. I use 1/2 of the apples and 1/2 of the milk, but all of the other ingredients. Bake in oven. I also use leftovers in my oatmeal or cream of wheat for breakfast or snack or dessert. This is really good. I had a friend give it to me for finals. The topping, however, isn't as crunchy as I would have liked. Maybe the banana idea wouldn't be a bad one. I'll have to give it a try.
