They are very delicious. I prepared 1 cup of quinoa with 2 cups of water, cool and fluff with fork. I sauted 1 small yellow or white chopped onion until soft, then added 1 carrot grated, 1/2 of a medium zucchini grated, let this saute a little longer, cool a little, and add 1/2 of a package of frozen, defrosted, chopped spinach, drained and water squeezed out, 1/4 to 1/2 cup allowed yogurt, 1/4 cup whole wheat pastry flour (1 point), 1 tablespoon tahini (3 points), Juice from 1/2 lemon, 1 teas. baking powder, 1 teasp. dill weed or to taste, sea salt to taste, black pepper, vege-sal to taste. Mix this well and add it to the quinoa, mix well but gently. Form into 8 baseball size balls flattened into nice firm round cakes. To control amount of oil, I used a pastry brush to oil my griddle that covers two burners. Grill until nice and brown. Handle gently. Quinoa lovers, you will like this. It is time consuming but well worth it to me. The entire recipe is 4 points. Count as you wish. Vege-sal is available in health food stores. It is a vegetable seasoning and is very tasty. I had to share this with you quinoa lovers.
The guy who owns the health food store gave me a recipe for couscous cake. This is a dessert type cake with fruit topping. Can't wait to try it.

Josh, These sure sound good. I just love quinoa. I guess it's the chewy texture. These have got to be a powerhouse of nutrition too! Thanks for sharing. I may get around to making them this week.
Now, the hard part. How to limit the amount eaten.
Surprisingly, I was able to eat two and stop. They are very delicious. The vege-sal & the sea salt give a wonderful flavor. I put a couple in the freezer. Will let you know how they freeze. Thank you for your response.
