1/2lb Core ground beef, browned
garlic and onion powder, to taste
1 can black beans, drained
2 cans beef broth
1 can cut green beans
1 can corn
1 can tomato sauce
1 pkg taco seasoning
place ingredients in pot on stove, bring to boil, then lower heat and simmer for 20 minutes.

Have to add another version...I make this all the time
1 lb ground core turkey (cooked) 1 onion diced 3 cans rotel diced tomatos 1 pkg taco seasoning 1 can pinto beans 2 cans chili beans 1 can black beans 1 can red beans 1 can corn 1 pkg ff ranch dry dressing mix (not core) but it comes out to very little calories per serving. this soup makes a lot Do NOT drain any of the cans...simmer for 1 hour This freezes well also

I forgot to add, I sometimes add a small can of chopped green chiles to mine.

FF ranch dry dressing mix IS on the core list now woohoo. Dunno why taco seasoning wouldn't be when fajita seasoning is. Seems it would have the same ingredients. At any rate, still so low would probably be 0 wpa unless you ate the entire pot.

Thanks for posting the recipes, while looking at everyone's daily menu I saw a lot of Taco Soup, but wasn't sure of the recipe.

THere are several fat free ranch dressings that are core, but I didn't see any dry mixes listed. (not even for points values)

I am confused. At our meeting we say you must rinse and drain all beans to make them CORE because "sauce" is not CORE. But you have several cans of beans and say not to drain them. Do you take extra points because of the sauce?
