Hey all my weekly weigh in was yesterday. down .2 a small loss, but I'll take anything down. I have my second exercise class tonight. I've decided that it's ok to go at my own pace. that I don't have to keep up with everyone else. I'll work hard, but will keep in mind that this is for my benefit, not for anyone else. I had yesterday off and went for a nice long walk in the afternoon. We are having fabulous weather here. I LOVE this time of year. We're going camping this weekend and I'm so excited for it. The weather report looks good and we are both ready for a little break. Have a great week everyone Katie

Hi, everyone - we're a little quiet over here!! I'm checking in after my last WW meeting... at least for a while. It was sad to say goodbye to my leader and fav receptionist but my leader reminded me that since I am Lifetime, I can still WI once a month and pay (if I'm more than 2 lbs. over goal LOL) and attend the meeting that day. Just to stay in touch. What a good idea! Duh- never thought of that. I didn't even WI last night, didn't want to know. I don't think I've ever used NWI pass. But I want to start fresh when I start weighing myself at home every week, now I have to find a date/time that's convenient to do this, I will probably stick with Wed. afternoons. But I can't find my scale!! I thought it was in my cluttered closet - I have to start searching! Katie - any loss is a loss - good luck with the exercise. You are right not to push yourself, you're doing it for you. Cynthia - Coco - Beth - Tracie - Hi to all and have a good day everyone!

Hi all-
Glad everyone is poking in from time to time! I have my WI tomorrow, I'm hoping to have lost at least a little of that vacation weight. I had a decent week - used about 15 WPAs and exercised 3 times (although it was Sunday, Monday and Tuesday). I'm feeling a bit anxious today, lots going on personally but my strategy today was to keep busy and out of the house and not let the stress allow me to make bad food choices.
Hope everyone has a good night - it's almost the weekend!!
-Beth

The word of the day is... REFOCUS.
I did not make great food choices this weekend. I am feeling badly about it. I am determined to get back to goal by the end of the year. I will not let weekends, holidays and vacations be an excuse. I am not happy having clothes in my closet that do not fit.
That is my declaration of the day.
SO far, have worked out and eaten Core. I'm going out to dinner but have chosen a place that has really nice salads and I'm looking forward to it.
Hope you are all doing well!
-Beth

I've had 2 good days so far - we have a great dinner planned of baked potato, lamb and brocolli. I have worked out once and hope to again tomorrow and Thursday mornings. I expect a gain on Friday anyway because of the weekend but I feel like I'm back on track. Now I just need to STAY IN THIS MODE.
Hope everyone is okay - check in when you can!

Well, I think I'm back where I started Sept 1st. I've had a terrible, but yummy, week. Exercise class continues to be a challenge but I'm enjoying it. So I will get back to being inspired and will go through sugar detox again. I will make a menu for the week and buy good groceries and WILL NOT SNACK FROM THE FOOD TABLE AT WORK. Congrats Beth on getting back on track. Cathy, I'm right there with you on the clothes issue, but I did have to buy some bigger clothes or I'd be going to work naked and we just can't have that...lol Take care everyone Katie

Where is everyone???
Hope all is well. It has gotten cold here in Chicago already, it is in the 40s in the morning.
Last week at my weigh in I was at a pretty high point - at my "Danger Will Robinson" point. Today I was down 2.8 so I was happy. I had a careful week with the holidays but tried to do really well and most importantly I rejoined my old gym and went back to a spinning class yesterday. There was a time when I was doing that 3-4 times per week. I don't know if I can do that with my schedule now but I'd like to get back into doing it at least twice per week. I'm hoping that will help keep things on a downward trend for me. There are 12 weeks left to the year and I am determined!!!
Hope everyone is okay and hanging in there. Have a great weekend!!
Take care- Beth

Hi all! I've fell off the wagon for awhile, but I'm back op and ready to get serious about core. I had too many trips and long weekends and just didn't stay op. We went wine tasting, ate lots of bad things and just haven't been following core for a few months now. I think my total gain is about 7 pounds, but oh well. I will be going back to ww this week and get my weight and go from there. So I don't know if I should be in the challenge this time around or not. If you guys don't mind, I will wi on Wednesday and work at my 8 pound challenge with Wednesday's new weight. I can sure tell the difference at how I feel when I was op to how I feel now. I don't like feeling this way and want to start feeling good again.

Hi, everyone!! Sorry I've been MIA in posting but I've been lurking!
Tracie - by all means join us in this challenge - the more the merrier!
I still haven't purchased a scale for home so therefore have no number to measure my "progress" ... clothes seem fine-- some tight, some loose, some fit ... I'm still not where I want to be and I'm still workin' on it. I had a busy week last week and didn't exercise nearly enough, same thing this week - lots going on. But these things happen and I can adjust my eating if I can't exercise as much.
Everyone have a great week!

Hi everyone! Sorry I've been MIA; grad school has taken over my life. My jeans feel even tighter this morning; I too need to REFOCUS! Today I'm going to stick to Core until dinner time (party event tonight) but at the party I'll avoid the appetizers and bread, limit the wine, and skip dessert. Then tomorrow I can make a clean start, without that bloated feeling.
I'll post my weigh-in tomorrow, too.

Where is everyone???
My last post here on Oct. 3 I was down - and last week I was back at that danger high point. I didn't have a terrific weekend food-wise, but I've refocused again since Monday. I went spinning this morning and plan on going tomorrow morning as well. There are less than 11 weeks left of the year - EEK!!
Hope everyone is hanging in there. We need to get this challenge active again!
Take care- Beth

I'm lurking but I'm not posting because I don't have a scale yet!!!! I don't know how much I weigh for the first time in 4 years. It would be different on a WW scale anyway. I want to go back to my meeting next week, pay the $13 and WI just to keep my file active with WW. My clothes fit OK. I had a rough 2 weeks of not so good eating or exercise habits, I'm back on track again this week. I have been using The Daily Plate to try to track my daily calorie intake and exercise. It's not exact but it's helpful. I'm still continuing Couth to 5K and doing my DVDs, trying to watch portion sizes, going through perimenopause.. etc. etc. LOL the usual life stuff. As soon as I get a scale I hope to update my stats. At any rate, I'm keepin' on ... I miss everyone and think of you often!

Hey, everyone! OK here is my "number" - so weird how I am tied to that stupid number. But it's good to know that I have not strayed too far from goal, no more than 12 lbs. at my highest, depending on when I WI. Well I weighed myself on my new WW scale (OK as far as consistent accuracy - told me two 10 lb. weights weighed 20.8, 21.0 22.00, 20.6 ... ) - anyway on Sunday a.m. it said 148.6 and I'll take it and I'm sticking to it!! I want to attend a meeting on Wed. night, I'm sure the number will be much higher on the WW scale at 5:30 p.m. but who cares. Hope you're all doing well!
