Well UGH! I have been really loving Core (lost 6 pounds so far) and last week I went to the doctor got on the scale (although I was very nervous..not a fan of dr. scales) and weighed great, then got on my scale the next morning (my weigh in day) and gained 1.5! HOW DOES THAT HAPPEN! Then this week I gained .2 I chocked last week up to PMS and starting my "monthly visitor", but I have been doing really good this week. Exercising a ton, drinking lots of water-eating 5 fruits and veggies. My clothes feel better but I am feeling discouraged...help!!

Don't worry about your Dr's scales! Stick to the same one every time. I was getting pleasant surprises every time I went to my dr and they weighed me for over a year, when both my meeting scale and home scale said I weighed more -- turns out the dr had a bad scale. Found out the first time they weighed me after replacing it! You're doing great -- trust your instincts and the program and it WILL come off!

Be patient, small fluctuations are just natural. Maybe you had something with more sodium than usual. There are a hundred reasons for a small gain. Hormones can really factor into it also. I only weigh once a week and have found that to be enough. I know I can fluctuate a pound or two day to day, but a weekly weigh in gives me a good overall perspective. Try not to get caught up in the frenzy of what the scale says from day to day. As Nancy said, follow the program and trust your instincts. Good luck Katie

;D You guys are so encouraging! I am going to stick with it and hopefully next week I will see a loss-I love Core, and if nothing else makes me feel better. I am hoping PMS w/ gas contributed to the gain-ha ha!

Hi, Catnip! ;D It's true, you should try to focus on only 1 scale, so if you have a dr. visit just get the # and forget it! As a WW receptionist, I always tell my members "You can weigh yourself as often as you like, but it's the WW scale that counts!" If you don't go to meetings, then weigh yourself at home once a week only. You will get used to it, and it is so much less stressful, since as Katie said weight fluctuates, sometimes hourly, just like blood pressure and cholesterol! Who needs that aggravation. Good luck and hope to see you around often at Kippy's! ;D

This happens, scales are so different, they really are and most dr.s are still using those OLD scales that have not been balanced in YEARS! Don't fret it.. you will be fine. Keep up your awesome job!
