Don't have one but am one. My dad re-married when I was 17. Can I be helpful in any way?

My former partner's daughter is now in her late 20s. My ex and I were together during her daughter's growing up years (ages 12 to 21). She's now all grown up (my ex's daughter, that is), and we remain very good friends. She's like a fairy godmother to my DD.

I'm late to this party (as usual).....
I have 3 adult stepdaughters - and all 3 have children of their own! Kally, are you still interested in discussing this topic?

Looks like it's been a while since this question was posted but I'm sure the Step-Kids haven't disappeared. I am also an adult step-child. Been one for 30 years and I did NOT like my step-father. I tolerate him today. Life is easier since I don't have to live with him. (He has a bit of a drinking problem - to say the least). I am also the proud step-mother of 3 step-sons ages 27-35 and Grandma to one of their daughters. I'd be happy to answer questions and offer support. I know how challenging step-families can be!!
