Bakery items (bread, cake, cookies, pancakes, nutrition bars, etc.) are not Core. Neither is flour. You can use WPA and/or APs for bakery items, including things prepared from Bisquick. Hope that helps.

PB, Do you have the current WW program info? If you are an online subscriber (on the WW website), you can switch your plan to Core on the home page and take the Core Quick Start tutorial. If you're a meeting member, the Core info is in the Getting Started booklet beginning on p. 20.

Depending on what I am using it for. I substitute the small biscuits in the round tube. They are 1 point for 2 biscuits. Use them to top off pot pies. Chicken pot pie is my favorite pot pie. You can make a nice core chicken pot pie, cut the biscuits into quarters and place them on top of pie and bake. They get like little dumplings. Very good

I have been considering using a canned biscuit and dividing it up into about 4 sections rolling flat and wraping it around FF cheese and jalapenos to bake into fake Jalapeno poppers(points for biscuits). I haven't done it yet but will one of these days when I remeber to buy biscuits and jalapenos at the grocery store..... if anyone wants to try it first and let me know how it turned out.........

Just to be super-clear, for the sake of newcomers, etc. . . . . . the biscuits you're describing aren't Core. They can be enjoyed using your WPA and/or APs. It's a great idea to make low point "dumplings"! Thanks for the idea!

You are right Hippo. The kind I buy are 2 biscuits for 1 point. I did mention the points but should have made it more clear. They are not core and they do make great little dumplings.

Thanks to everyone for their wonderful input. I do go to the classes, but most of what I have learned about Core was from computer research because I find that the instructors are not well trained in the core program. Most of what they talk about in the meetings is flex, and alot of the questions I ask they cannot answer. What I was really looking for was something to use on top of a fruit cobbler for the crumble topping. I would use Splenda and cinnamon, but it needs something to take the place of the Bisquick. Thanks for all your imput!!

The 2 for 1 point biscuits are the smallest ones. The very small round package. You can buy them in packages of 4 small rounds or single rounds. They cost about 50 cents each round and contain about 10 or 12 biscuits in each round. There are a few different brands. Pilsbury makes one as do the generic store brands. You need to look at the nutrition facts to determine if you have the right one. I don't have any in my frig right now but when I go to the store I will check for you. I will get back later. OK? I hope I am not having a senior moment and giving you incorrect information but I am almost certain they were 2 for 1 point.
