It is official as of stepping on the scale this morning...
First week on Core I lost four pounds ;D and I am, needless to say, thrilled. I have decided to give myself a month on core to see how it goes no matter what the scale says but having it say I have lost weight is a pleasant side effect to staying on program!

Way to go. Let other things be a good indication of how Core is going also, not just the scale. Your hunger level, and satisfaction level, your health level, and (in my case) the disposition level. All these things will improve on Core. Good luck on your next week.

I know what you mean about using mroe than the scale as a measuring stick. Already I know that I am experiencing a decrease in cravings, not thinking of going to the kitchen for sweets and seem to have more energy.
But, since I am a lifetimer (twice now) who has done points and exchanges do enjoy this freedom of not having to count or keep track of foods. I am hopeful this will be my way of eating for life and that I will find a natural easy to maintain weight and stay there forever by sticking with Core.
I also have some wonderful smaller clothing I want to get into again (some from before I got married 27 years ago...go figure!) and those are also measuring devices.
Thanks for the reminders, though, and here's to all of us finding our best personal weight using the best way of eating.
