Ah, that 0.5 will be gone next week, and then some. You are doing great! I had my monthly weigh-in last night (that seems so weird after all the years of weekly WIs), and I'm still right at my goal weight. The idea of maintenance really scared me--will I just gain it all back again this time? To be able to maintain for a couple of months so far is HUGE, and I am positive that core is the reason. ;D

Oh you should be so proud of yourself ....to reach goal and maintaining....and you will not gain it back. You have come along way and you can continue. Don't let it (that awful word-food) take control.
Have you tried the Diet Lipton Green Tea with mixed berry or w/citris.......oh both are soooo good. I drink water and then have some of this as a treat.......wonderful.

WI last night and I am up 1lb. I am trying not to get down about it. I love a challenge but I was sure I would lose this week. Oh well I will keep on truckin. I keep reminding myself that my cholestrol went down from 235 to 206 so that is great and to be positive and think of all the things I can do now that I am 48lbs. lighter. Gained again. Just not into it but not giving up. I know what I am doing wrong but I just don't have my head on straight.

Hang in there! As they say, "slow and steady wins the race". Believe me, I know how frustrating it can be to juggle the same pound or two back and forth, but it is still MUCH better than gaining all you've lost. Think of all the weight you HAVEN'T gained, and how much healthier you are because of your determination and focus. You are doing great!

Thanks for the positive thoughts. I am trying to be positive and last night helped. I went to WI and I gained .5lbs. I was soooo happy. I know it was a gain but it should have been worse. I am doing good so far. This morning I decided to start with cereal and banana and it seems to have satisfied me. I was getting bored with breakfast.

Hi - I WI on Wednesday too - now Mello - since we are neighbors, where do you WI? I go to Riverdale for the 5:45 meeting. CONGRATS on that awesome loss!!! I lost 1.6 last night, I am happy too! ;D

WHAT A SMALL WORLD!!!!! I was a Riverdale member for almost 2 years. I work in Fairfield now, so I do the 7:00 meeting there. I could never make it to a 5:45. Is Julie your leader?

Hey Mello - this is so funny. I've been going to Riverdale since May 2005, the 5:45 meeting. I was going to do the 7:00 there but it's too late since I don't eat dinner before I WI! I work until 4:30 and since I'm in Pompton Lakes it's perfect for me.
Lorri is my leader, Wed. is the only day she is in Riverdale, she usually works in Caldwell. I don't know about Fairfield. I love her, so glad to have found her, she's the best.
