I just noticed that on the search screen, the default is set to search posts for the past 7 days. This board has been up for 9 1/2 months, and most posts (especially recipes) have been up for longer than a week. So. . . . if you're looking for a specific recipe, ingredient, or other keyword, be sure to adjust your search parameters to 365 days or some such large number of days. The box for this is at the very bottom of the search screen, so scroll all the way down until you see it. . . . .

My question is, is there a way not to enter a number of days in here to search the whole board? I entered a larger number of days than the board has been in exsistance to try to accomplish that safely (because there were so many good posts right off the bat in 1/05) but the search engine wouldn't return any results that way.

The search option is at the top of the page under the "ER" in Core-ner. On my computer it is in light blue and has brackets around it...

Just wondering if anyone has an answer for this yet. Unless you know "exactly" how many days the board has been up and working you might not be able to search the whole board. If you enter a higher number of days then the board has been in exsistance you will get a response that your search has no matches no matter what. Too few days and you are possibly missing posts. Any suggestions?
