Okay, for all you who are getting the Charter Member logo message from Kippy, here's detailed instructions on how to place it in your signature. As always, I apologize if I'm telling you something you already know. I just want to be sure you get all the steps possible!
1. Open the message from Kippy in your personal messages. If you are unsure where this message will come to, at the top of your screen there is a place that says "Hey, ********, you have * messages, * are new." No, it doesn't really have the asterics, but those parts vary. If you click on the "* messages" it will take you to your private message inbox. That's where Kippy's message is.
2. There is a URL listed in Kippy's message. Highlight that URL by holding down your left mouse button and dragging it across the screen until the whole URL is highlighted a dull green color.
3. Release the left mouse button without moving the mouse. Click the right mouse button. You should get a list of options that include "Cut, Copy, Paste, Delete". Move the pointer over the word "Copy" and click it with your left mouse button.
4. Click on your profile and scroll down to the signature box.
5. This is where your creativity gets a chance to play. If you already have something in your signature box, you'll need to figure out where you want the logo to display. Go to that place in the box. Unlike when you change your ticker, you do not need to delete anything in your signature box. Just figure out if you want the logo next to your ticker, above your ticker, in front of your ticker...and move the cursor there.
6. Click your right mouse button. You'll get the same list as before, only "Paste, Delete" will be the only options available in the section you clicked on before. Move your pointer to the "Paste" option and click it with your left mouse button.
7. The URL that was in your message will now appear in your signature. But you are not done yet.
At the beginning of the URL, type: [ img]
At the end of the URL, type: [/img ]
8. What you typed at the beginning of the URL has a space between the "[" and the "i". Delete that space. What you typed at the end of the URL has a space between the "g" and the "]". Delete that space. Make sure there are no other spaces between the tags and the URL.
8. Click Save.
9. Now go to one of your posts and see if the image has shown up. If not, be sure you have the whole URL listed and there are no spaces showing.
And if that doesn't work, cry for help and Pookie or I'll come running!
