1C whole wheat pasta I use a fun shape like spirals, or wagon wheel 1C chopped onion 1/2 C chopped green sweet pepper chopped garlic to taste 2 tsp olive oil 1-1/2 to 2 tsp chili powder 1/8tsp red pepper flakes or to taste 1 14-1/2 ounce can tomatoes 1 8ounce can tomato sauce 1 15-1/2 ounce can kidney beans rinsed and drained 1/4 fat free cheddar cheese cook pasta according to directions, drain meanwhile, heat oil in a large skillet and add onion, green pepper and garlic cook til veggies are tender. Stir in chili powder, undrained tomatoes, tomato sauce, and red pepper flakes. Stir in pasta and beans and simmer till desired thickness. Top with cheese to serve This is a great, filling meal. I like to add frozen corn and chopped celery, other veggies would be good too. I do brown some hamburger for my son to add in to his, since he doesn't think a meal is complete without meat. This reheats really well too
