I would love to see a whole section on Smoothie Recipies. I find that's a treat my DH and I would dearly love, but am relatively new to core and would like some suggestions for core smoothies, please.
Thanks!

The recipes here are searchable, and I think there are many recipes posted, just make sure the time frame is long, as there haven't been many recipes posted recently. The board was much more active in the past.
This isn't really a 'recipe' but here's my smoothie:
Fresh or frozen fruit chunks of your choice (my favorite is banana/mango/pineapple, but strawberry/banana, blueberry, mixed berries, kiwi, peach are also all very good. I use about a cup total of fruit. I add enough skim milk to cover the fruit in the blender. If the fruit isn't sweet enough, I add some splenda. If I want some variety, I add some extracts, vanilla, coconut, almond. I whirr it in the blender, and have a smoothie. Couldn't be easier.
If you like it thicker you can add some ice cubes (though I prefer to just use cold fruit or frozen fruit) or some FF palin yogurt. If you like it thinner, add some water or additional milk.
You have to experiment a little to find what you like.
They are a great core breakfast on the run, and a great hot-weather treat as well.

My favorite is frozen cherries and FF yogurt OR frozen peaches, fresh blackberries and yogurt. You need to experiement and create your own favorite! If you buy a few bags of frozen fruit you can do a lot of fun mixing and matching. I love them for breakfast or a mid-day snack during the summer, I don't tend to make them much in the winter.
Enjoy!!

My new favorite Smoothie...is a BLISSARD. I use a chocolate or a vanilla Smoothie pcket, 8 oz skim milk, a cupo of crushed ice and a peanut butter bliss bar cut in 3 or 4 pieces. Blen about 2 minutes. 4 points, 2 dairy servings, and delicious!
