Salsa used to be available here in a jar but has disappeared. I was wondering if anyone has a tried and true recipe to make salsa from scratch.

Cathy, I'm sure there are 10,000+ salsa recipes out on the internet! ;D But I just posted an interesting Tomato Salsa recipe on the Appetizers/Snacks thread. That one is if you have canning jars and want to make salsa in bulk. I also found another quicker version and posted that. Here is a link to allrecipes.com that tells all about different salsas, hope you can paste it into your browser to open it. Thank you, Cathy, for the salsa link...am off to discover right now. I also saw your posted recipe on the appetizer board and saved it. I am going to have to try some recipes and see if I can even can some using tomatoes from our garden later in the season So far I have made ketchup, tomato sauce and tomato jam but not salsa to store for the winter.
