Ronzoni has a pasta that is a "whole wheat blend." The ingredients are "semolina (wheat); wheat bran; wheat fiber; egg whites; niacin; iron; thiamin mononitrate; riboflavin; and folic acid."
Because it is not 100% whole wheat, is this core? This pasta is Ronzoni "Healthy Harvest." If you look up "Ronzoni" on the ww website, all you find is Ronzoni "Healthy Request."
What does anyone think of whole wheat blends?
Thanks!

Wheat blends are not core. Only 100% whole wheat pasta is core. Sorry

They're good, and they are more healthy than a pure white pasta, but they are NOT CORE.
If you're going to eat it instead of white pasta, or feed it to your family instead of white pasta, it's a better choice.
If you're going to eat it instead of 100% whole wheat pasta, it's a less good choice, though not awful. Fine to spend your points on a weighed/measured portion if you really want it. Certainly better than many other things you could spend your WPA on. Great pasta choice while doing flex, though never as healthy for you as 100% whole wheat.

I suspected as much, thanks! I've been searching for a 100% whole wheat, wide, flat noodle. My sister bought this for me, not realizing that a blend was different. I haven't eaten it yet because I was skeptical. I would much rather use my points elsewhere!
Has anyone seen 100% whole wheat, wide, flat noodles? Like the squiggly yolkless egg noodles? If so, what brand?
Thanks again for your input!

I have found noodles. Ther were Hodgson Mills, I think and they came in a plastic bag. I found them at Donelan's in Massachusetts.

They sell Hodgson Mills at the grocery stores around here too, but I've never seen the type that I am looking for. I'll have to look more closely now that you mention a specific brand. Thanks!
