So, I'm going to meet some fellow students at Starbucks tomorrow morning before our exam. Normally, I never buy coffee, and only drink the instant stuff on mornings that I have class. So, I decided to treat myself tomorrow morning to a Starbucks coffee, but I have no idea what to order. Before Core, on the rare occation I'd buy a coffee, I'd get a mocha. Would a mocha made w/ FF milk work? Or, is there still sugar in there?
So, what do you order when you go to Starbucks?
Thanks

What ever you order, just tell them you want it sugar free and fat free. They should help you out with that.

Personally I like a grande 2 pump mocha ff no whip. This is only 1 pt on Core. I love it! They also have sf vanilla and sf hazelnut. Just get a ff late and add sweetner if you don't care for flavors. Enjoy! Uusally on a grande mocha it is 4 pumps which would be 2 pts on Core. It is a little too much mocha for me that is why 2 pumps are great and only 1 pt.

I allways get a ff sf vanilla latte. I add a bit of splenda and a sprinkle of cinnamon.

All of your core choices would, obviously, have to be FF. Basically, you can get a ff latte, ff cappuchino, or plain old espresso shot on core. To any of those, you can have them add sf syrup (Starbucks only carries vanilla or hazelnut) and still be core. So, mix and match the combos. I usually get a sf, non-fat, decaf, vanilla latte, because I don't like hazelnut. It's a yummy treat!

Grande skim latte.
Grande caramel frappuccino lite no whip, when I'm feeling flush in points (it's 3 points).

Has anyone tried putting some WW smoothie mix in their lattes? I was thinking of adding some of the chocolate to make a mocha, but haven't tried it yet.

Starbucks has a new cold drink...frappiccino lite. A grande is only 3 points. Order extra shots of espresso if you want a super charge. Tell them no whipped cream topping-just to be sure.
Sugar free vanilla and sugar free hazelnut mixed is called French Vanilla. Any size french vanilla skim latte is core. Does anybody know about their sugarfree brownies? I just saw them today. Marcia

So are you telling me that a Venti FF SF Hazelnut Latte is Core? And, the same with Venti FF SF Vanilla Latte?
Yes, my first post is about Starbucks. I'm such a addict. ;D

Kudzu - welcome! See, there's a post out there that will draw out every quiet newbie - it's our responsibility to find it! Yep, as long as you get ff and sf, you're good. So, the ff/sf lattes are core - size really doesn't matter, but you still have to stay within satisfaction. I find the big ones much harder to finish than I used to, so I go for the small (is that a grande? I get confused with their sizes...)
