I recently went to applebees and got the mesquit grilled chicken salad...It is 5 flex points
Everything in it looked core..It had lettuce tomatos, corn beans, and grilled chicken. It was really good. I counted 3 pts for the dressing cause I wasnt sure if it was ff. It was so good I doubt it. It was a bbq dressiing...it was yummy

I had the onion soup there (3 pts) and the grilled shrimp skewers (5 pts, I think?) and they were both very good.

I thought I had heard on the WW board that some areas actually have Applebee's that have core foods. I haven't been to the one here yet to know if they do, but it might be a test market thing if every place doesn't have them. I think they said something about some salads with FF dressings ( a citrus of some sort). I wouldn't think it would be that hard for them to add a few meat meals with potato or brown rice pilafs to their menus, either. That would be nice to be able to eat out and know things were "safe".

I went to Applebees last night, and tried the tango chicken sandwich (had a few WPAs). It came with a side of fruit that was frozen bland pinneapple and one decent strawberry (Core) and the sandwich was pretty much a bun, rf cheese, weird bbq sauce, and chicken.
It was 7 points. I removed 1 point since there was about 1 point of fruit on the plate (6) . It wasn't that good so I only ate half the sandwich, and counted that as 3.

We went there last night ourselves. I also had the Tango Chicken Sandwich. The sandwich was fine, but I knew in advance that I wouldn't like the fruit too much, so I asked for steamed veggies instead. They were wonderful!!
The sandwich was fine, I could have done without the bun, though.

When I eat places like this, I get a steak & ask them not to cover it in oil & steamed veggies (since Applebees doesnt have baked potatoes). Their house sirloin is awesome & very little fat (that I trim off). Get a house salad w/ no bacon or croutons.. YUMMY meal!
I forgot! You can get the smothered or honey grilled chicken with no sauce or cheese or anything. Maybe get a side of salsa or BBQ sauce..
