Has anyone read it? I bought it at my meeting (softcover) for $12 and Walmart has the hardcover for about $17. I've just started reading it - pretty good so far.

I have read mine once really fast, and now am going through it page by page and marking the passages that are really hitting home for me. I love it, it cuts right to the chase and does not mince words. I am focusing on the section on Activity right now, and really watching my portion control, and we shall see how it goes......

Very interesting! I just finished the chapter about how you lose weight is important... the info about how "water weight" is lost is really neat... I never really understood it before. And it really drives home the importance of physical activity so you don't lose muscle mass!!!
Excellent book!

I just finished this book last night and wish so much that it had been available to read years ago. The book makes sense. I now realize how many of the myths I had bought into over the years which resulted in irrational weight loss attempts.

Bought it, Read it, Loved it!!!! I would highly recommend this book to everyone! Instead of just telling us things, it really explains the "why" parts.

As a "professional dieter" I wish I would have read this and the Volumetrics books when I was spending an entire year following a low carb eating plan. I did lose about 20 pounds low carbing but now I know why it took me a year to do this. I was eating way too many calories in very low density foods. Bring on the oatmeal and bring on the soup!!!!
