3-4 medium potatoes 2 tsp olive oil seasoning salt garlic powder
Clean potatoes, leaving skins on. Cut into wedges, about 6 wedges per half potato. Put wedges in bowl, drizzle with olive oil and toss to coat. Then sprinkle with garlic powder and seasoning salt (I am pretty heavy handed with the garlic powder, my preference.)
Bake at 400 for about 30 minutes. (I use a Pampered Chef baking stone for this, you may need to spray your baking sheet with Pam)

;D Nope, I leave the skin on. It gets crispy if I am patient enough.

Sounds wonderful!
I made something similar once. Once. Called for egg, and when I baked it, of course the egg just turned white on the potato. So I'll have to try this version!

One variation we love uses dried onion soup mix for the seasoning. I did these before core, now just use 4 tsp olive oil (two of us) instead of the larger amount originally called for, sprinkle with one package of onion soup mix, toss to blend, bake at 400-450 until done (probably 30-45 min, depending on size of chunks). Turn several times.
These are good the next day too, chopped up and refried as home fries. I don't add additional oil, just use a good non-stick pan.
Yum yum. Had some last night.

I never thought to use my baking stone...that sounds like the perfect trick to getting them crisp. Thanks a bunch!!!

I loved making my own french fries before I started WW. If only I had controlled my portions back then......
