Question...
My sister is planning to come visit me in Lebanon for the first time since I moved here almost 30 years ago. There are so many places and foods I want her to experience while she is here and am thinking that between now and her arrival I can stay on CORE (mostly) but when she is here it may be more difficult. What words of advice do you all have for me? She will be here for about two weeks.
Thank you!

I say have fun! I wouldn't throw core out the window, but don't skip a place you really want to take your sister just because it isn't Core.

Do the best you can. Try to stick closer to core when you are cooking, and make reasonable choices when you are eating out. Walk alot, and enjoy every second of your time together. BTW it's GREAT to hear from you again. Katie

Thank you for the advice. I have a feeling we will be eating a lot of LOCAL foods that I have told my sister about for ages but can't always find the ingredients for when in the USA. She is into walking and also likes to eat healthy foods most of the time so it should not be TOO bad...and...I can get back onto CORE as soon as she leaves (if not while she is here). The fruits here will be glorious and I have a feeling a LOT of our eating will be of freshly picked fruits from all of our trees. Thank you for the welcome back More later with updates of the visit after the 10th of June...or after cinde leaves on the 26th
