I got this as a Tip for the Day from work. Not being a medical professional, I can't vouch for this for sure. Anyone here know if this is true? "Half as likely" sounds like pretty good odds to me and something that might encourage me to drink more water. I have trouble getting in all my water each day since I prefer (except for in the summer) coffee or tea.
OUTSMART HEART DISEASE A California study found that women who drank more than five glasses of water a day were half as likely to die from a heart attack as those who didn't. Being well hydrated reduces the risk of clots, which are linked to heart attacks.
