Maintenance is my number 1 goal. If I lose a few more pounds I won't complain but I'm not actively trying for additional losses.

My apologies -- I voted without paying proper attention to the header. I'm not a lifer yet, but in maintenance. I'll be more careful in the future.

Well, this one is tough for me because I would like to lose at least 5 more pounds, but at this time I am not actively trying to lose. I am enjoying maintaining my current weight with Core. I know that pretty soon here I need to buckle down again and get those pounds off, but for right now it feels great to eat Core foods, plus some WPA's and maintain.
I like the way I look now, but those extra 5 lbs. would be a nice cushion at WI time!!!!! Right now I still WI each week. ;D Monica

Sandra - it's perfectly all right. Lifetime is just a stone's throw from maintenance - you'll be there before you know it.

I'm still working on another 5 pounds or so, although I've deliberately tried to move into a slow loss mode. So if I drop 2 pounds this month I'll be happy with it.
When I get to the lower 130s I'll know if it's right for me and I'll go from there. No hurry though...I have a lifetime to do this! ;D

Not long after reaching lifetime, I got down to about 15 pounds below my goal. During the past 6 months, I've let my weight drift up to goal and even a pound or two over. That's what brought me to Core...I was fooling myself believing I could eat anything and manage my weight.
I'm headed in the right direction. Again.

I think I've gained a bit over the past few months (haven't been on the scale lately). So, I'm trying to eat more sensibly and feel more comfortable.

I'm working on the mental and physical aspects of maintenance (getting my head around the new "game" of maintaining and stopping losses as well as actually figuring out what to eat and how many WPA to use).

I made my lifetime in June of last year, and actually maintained until September. Had TOM for 2 months, then quit smoking... so for now, I am back in losing mode.
I have a medical goal weight, but to be truthful, I would still like to reach my original personal goal. The top range of chart from WW.

I'm actively losing, trying to get back to goal. And then, keep it off this time! I think I can do it with Core. I know I can!

I tend to be close to the 2 pounds over edge, as my real weight, not due to fluid retention. That means that if I'm retaining fluids, I will be over the 2 pounds and will have to pay at a meeting. So I want to lose 2 pounds and be solidly at my goal weight so that the 2 pounds really will be fluid. And if I were 2 pounds less than my actual goal, so much the better. Trouble is that the goal is 5 years old and I'm now menopausal. I am sure I can up the goal by 2 pounds, but it seems like a defeat somehow.

I made Lifetime this past week, but plan to lose another 5 pounds to reach my personal goal. Then ... on to maintenance ... what a journey!

I'm a Lifetimer who: - Decided I could do it on my own... - Then, thought, I'd wait til I lost those extra pounds before I go back to meetings... - Who's been struggling and not succeeding..
So, I'm: - getting my backside to the WW meeting this week - going to journal every bite - keep a closer eye on portion control - drink more water
IS ON HER WAY BACK TO GOAL!!!!

I made lifetime in 2001 (-100 lbs!). After thinking that I had all the tools to do it on my own, I struggled to maintain my goal weight +5 for over a year, but let my weight creep up until I had regained almost HALF of what I had lost. I realized that I better get myself back to a meeting and QUICK! I'd been avoiding it because I was embarrassed for being a failure and gaining. I discovered in the meeting room that first night that I wasn't the only one, and I have been there every week for 1-1/2 years. But I also realized that my original goal weight was unrealistic now--it didn't make sense to try and weigh what I did twenty-plus years ago. So I'm a bit more realistic in my goal now, and am less than 15 pounds away now. The most important thing I've learned about myself is that I will ALWAYS need to be in a meeting room, even after I reach my goal and maintain it. And maintain it I will!!! mikki
