Moonie, I am so impressed with your success!!! Just enjoy the new slim you EVERYDAY...what an incredible accomplishment. I have been lurking on the WW board for months watching you inching towards goal and was so excited for you when it happened. I still am grateful every day that my weight is under control. I really think you have to keep reminding yourself how far you've come, even after years of doing this. (Hardly ever do other people comment after you've been the same way for a long time. They just think you are done...they don't realize that it is by effort every day that we stay at goal.)

Thank you all for your amazing comments. I am hoping to make goal in the next month or so. I really like the ideas about setting new goals each week and not changing much else compared to what I am doing now.
Question: Did you change how much you ate, or exercised or what you ate after you made maintenance?

Xena, I'm still figuring on losing a little more, I just set my goal at the top end of my range to get done sooner. So I basically am eating the same way I was before. Perhaps a few more WPAs each week, and definitely a lot more the week I was traveling between Xmas and New years.

for maintenance I eat a little bit more and I exercise a lot more....but I pretty much eat the same types of foods I did to lose. Of course as the program changes I try each new one (been at this for over 25 years), and I change with it. I love CORE and think it will be the easiest for longterm maintenance. I think the missing piece was always the comfort zone and now that we are learning that, there is much more hope for a more "natural" maintenance. continue to enjoy the journey....Shirley
