Debbie,
We are not divers. Tried it once and because of a past asthma problem realized that it wasn't for me. Love to snorkle in Cozumel.
Have fun. My DS would love to live in Orlando. He is a Disney Travel Expert. That is where he and his new bride went for their honeymoon.
Congratulations on the weight loss.
Judy

Debbie....The wedding dress is so cute...and a waist! I love the strappy sandals they showed with it. I love the unconventional weddings. My daughter got married at my parents' house...a log cabin in the trees...her husband is Japanese ... he dressed in his native costume and his mother and sister did too...and my husband is a cowboy...so he of course wore his "outfit"...the priest was Irish (with a brogue)...they had a string quartet play for the ceremony and Japanese instruments for the reception. Well, it all turned out absolutely wonderful. I did the flowers as that is my "thing". I also made the cake, which was a Kahlua Fudge cake. It was one of the best days of my life...and hers too.
I'm sure the hat will be cute! I used to love wearing hats (back when I was young and cute...haha). You should be very proud of yourself....now once the weddings are over...keep your weight off! I'm still trudging along...but determined to stick to the CORE program for life.
Have a good week! Sandy

Well.....I'M BACK!!! It's been a long time since I was here.....11 lbs ago to be exact. I got to 136 for my daughters' wedding at the end of June, but unfortunately, things haven't gone so well since then. A few stops and starts now has me 11 lbs up from July 1. So here it is, Nov 1 and I'm ready to get back to business. Excuses are now a thing of the past. (Although my emotional eating over the last 3-4 months has validity in my life, I can now move on!) The week before my daughter's wedding, while trying on my Mother of the Bride dress, I found a lump. Yes, that kind of lump. After initially dismissing it, I knew that after the wedding, it was going to have to take a front seat in my life. Well, it certainly did. Numerous mammograms (the more squished the better), Breast AND head MRI's (to rule out possible stroke - symptoms from the stress & anxiety gave me severe headaches, neck aches, and loss of feeling in my arm!), ultrasounds, and ultimately the Biopsy later, I love the word "benign". I'm still on the 6 month plan for mammograms to rule out changes that may alter that diagnosis, but for now, other than the occasionaly painful cysts, I'm BAAAACK!
So now on to health eating with Core. Hoping to lose these 11 lbs that "found" their way back to me by Christmas, but we'll see.
First things first..... journaling! So here goes....

Debbie, I'm so glad that the lump is benign. What a scary time for you and to have to face it just before your daughter's wedding. What an emotional rollercoaster. Getting back on core and in controll will really be a boost. I'm glad you are back.
