Just saw the Departed and am so sad that I will never have those three hours of my life back. Ugh. Too much unnecessary blood bath for me and not enough plot. Besides, I can't tell Matt Caprio apart!

My favorite movies are pure fluff. I don't want to think about social issues, or be depressed, or be educated by most movies. I want light entertainment, to laugh and feel good when I leave the theater, so my movie choices are just light hearted comedy or romantic comedy. Sometimes a suspense or action, as long as there is a happy ending. The most recent movies I've seen are "wild hogs" and "the holiday" both silly, feel good movies. Katie

Ha. Well if it's any consolation my DP and I are renting The Sopranos from the beginning (we don't have HBO). We LOVE it. I can put up with the violence in order to see the complex characters, family dynamics and humor. It's an excellent show.
